It has been a tradition at Mitcham Parish Church to have flowers in church throughout the year, except in Lent and Advent. We make posies for the children to give to their mothers on Mothering Sunday. Easter is a time for lilies, and of course at the Harvest Festival flowers play a big part. Christmas is special and we decorate the church with as many flowers as we can. If you wish to sponsor flowers to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries or a loved one we will be happy to do this.
