We hold a wide range of other services for our congregation and members of the local community. Weddings Many people who live in the parish choose to celebrate their wedding at Mitcham Parish Church. To find out if one or both of you live within the parish boundaries, check the parish map. For more details and enquiries, ask for our wedding booklet. Couples wishing to marry may enquire by contacting the Parish Office on 020 8648 1566; or send an email. We will also be pleased to arrange a service of blessing to give thanks for marriage. This may take place on or near an anniversary. Evening meditation This is an informal service with prayer and unaccompanied singing, normally at 6pm on the 1st Sunday of the month. There is meditation on a passage of scripture, often selected from the set readings for the day. Baptism, admission to communion and confirmation For all enquiries about services to mark initation into the Church and the journey of faith, go to our Faith Development section. Funerals Funerals are organised through an undertaker. If you are bereaved, you may always contact the Parish Office to arrange a visit. You will also be welcome at our Memorial Service to remember those who have died, which takes place each year at All Souls tide in early November.
